This article explains how to transfer a top level domain (TLD) registration to 123 Simples. Depending on the domain name extension, it may be free to transfer certain UK Domain Name Registrations.

Please note that certain domains (.com, .net, .org, .info, .biz, .mobi, .cc and .tv) must be registered under your name for at least 60 days before they can be transferred to a different provider. This is required by the ICANN directive and applies to all providers.

1. Ask your present Domain Name Registration Provider to -
1.1 Unlock the domain name for transfer;
1.2 Update the Admin contact email address to domains@123simples.com. By doing this now, we can take care of the process for you;
1.3 If you have enabled a Private Registration Service on the domain, this needs to be disabled in order for the transfer approval email to be sent to our admin contact email address;
1.4 Provide you with what is called a Transfer Authorisation Key for the domain name, which you need to let us know what this is.

Once you have successfully prepared the domain for the transfer and accessed the authorisation code, please let our support team know, and we can complete the domain name transfer process for you.
