Changes to how Google Maps work -

This article explains how Google Maps started to roll out a new charging method from 16th July 2018. Google is now charging every single user of the Google Maps API. This means anyone using Google Maps on their website, whether straight up or integrated in a plugin, will now face being charged, regardless if they are a commercial entity, hobbyist, or non-profit organisation.

Google Maps Cannot Be Loaded

If you want to still use Google Maps -

Because of the recent changes this means that we will not be able to offer Google Maps for client websites through our own Google Account. However, clients who wish to have a google map on their website can register through Google themselves, and once they have setup their account with Google, we can then place the new code into whichever page on their website that displays a map.

Open Street Map -

If clients prefer not to have the possibility of being charged for Google Maps, then 123 Simples suggest switching to the Open Street Map system. It's broadly similar to Google Maps, and currently is free to use.

Another Option -

The third option is to have a simple LINK to Google Maps, which people can click on to see where your business is based, opening hours etc. Or this can be an image which shows a map, but ultimately clicks through to the Google Map itself.
