Domain Name Transfer from WIX -
This article explains how to transfer your domain name away from WIX to our own web hosting servers. If you have any issues, or need help to complete this transfer procedure, let us know and we will help you through it.
Moving your domain name from WIX to us
If you have purchased a domain from Wix, you can later transfer it to another domain host. This means your domain's contact information, DNS settings, and renewal payments are all managed from within your new host account, namely 123 Simples and 1st Choice Hosting.
TRANSFERRING YOUR DOMAIN NAME
If or when you decide to transfer your domain name to us, it is important to remember that your exisiting website and/or email accounts that you may have setup with your previous supplier will stop working. Don't worry - will have already discussed this with you beforehand and if you have any questions, just ask us.
Domain Name Transfer from WIX to 123 Simples -
To transfer your domain name away from WIX:
1. Login into your Wix Account;
2. Go to the Domains page;
3. Click the More Actions icon next to the relevant domain and select Transfer Away from Wix;
4. You will get some kind of warning but choose I Still Want to Transfer.
Wix will then send you a transfer authorization code (EPP code) to your domain's registrant contact email address (this would probably be your own email address that you registered the domain name with in the first place). We will then provide you with the completion details and help you complete the transfer of your domain name.
